Born in Honolulu, raised up in Kaneohe, Kathy With a K is helping local listeners unwind with Hawaii’s Relaxing Favorites from 9am to 3pm weekdays from our Downtown Honolulu studios.

Her on-air career began with fill-in work at Radio Free Hawaii in the early 1990’s, where she was later featured with Sheriff Norm on a Saturday morning countdown, the “Hawaiian Island Music Report”. Through the 1990’s, Kathy With a K would continue to work a variety of shifts, from overnights on Krater 96, to weekends then days on KQMQ.

Where you may recognize her voice and her On Air moniker from her 25+ years of experience on Hawaii’s airwaves across KSSK, 93-9 Jamz, and I-94.

Kathy With a K has a Maui connection as a former boarder at Lahainaluna High School. Her hobbies include travel, amateur digital photography, and enjoying live music concerts and theatre.
