Miley Cyrus is stepping into a new era — one that redefines success on her own terms. In a recent interview with The New York Times, the 31-year-old artist revealed she’s ready to shift the way she approaches her career, describing the release of her new album Something Beautiful as a turning point.
“This isn’t a farewell,” Cyrus explained. “But it might be the last time I do it this way.” With a stunning one-night-only visual film release planned for June 12 and the album already generating buzz through singles like “More to Lose” and “End of the World,” Miley is all in — but also ready to scale back the pressure.
She also opened up about her duality — living both as a performer and as a private person. “It’s probably from Hannah Montana,” she joked. “I think I’ve always seen myself in two parts: the public figure and the off-duty girl at home with no makeup.”
While she’s proud of the new generation of pop stars, Miley’s focus is inward. “Next year is going to be about rebirth,” she said. “I’m not quitting. I’m just evolving — in every way.”
