Get ready to defy gravity one last time — Wicked: For Good is flying into theaters this fall.
Universal Pictures has dropped the dazzling new trailer for Wicked: For Good, the highly anticipated conclusion to its two-part adaptation of the beloved Broadway musical. Cynthia Erivo returns as the green-skinned outcast Elphaba, with Ariana Grande reprising her sparkling role as Glinda. The film picks up after the emotional climax of part one, charting the fallout of the witches’ friendship as their paths officially diverge — one destined for darkness, the other for light.
Joining them again are Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, Michelle Yeoh as the formidable Madame Morrible, Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard, and Ethan Slater, Marissa Bode, and Bowen Yang in supporting roles. Jon M. Chu directs from a screenplay by Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox, bringing visual grandeur to Oz once more.
Last year’s Wicked shattered box office records and earned 10 Oscar nominations. Now, For Good promises a soaring emotional payoff, deeper character arcs, and the spectacle fans have come to expect. Premiering November 21, this final chapter aims to enchant longtime fans while ushering in a new era of magic for movie musicals.
