March 25, 2023 – Our sister station was out at Wai Kai in Hoakalei, Ewa Beach on Oahu for The LineUp at Wai Kai‘s Grand Opening. I tagged along to see the new water attraction in action!
The afternoon was filled with folks who signed up to surf and body board across the 100-foot long machine powered wave machine. It can be adjusted up to six-plus feet and entered on either side of the wave pool, powered by Citywave. The Wai Kai Wave is mesmerizing to watch…
The 52-acre Wai Kai Lagoon is where you can rent paddle boards, pedal boards, cabanas for shade and seating…I’m definitely returning to enjoy quiet time on the placid waters!
