Depending on how you approach your day, “Mercury Retrograde”:
- Is a new term to you.
- It gives you a sort of relief that you are not the only one having communication hiccups.
- It is not your jam, just here to scroll!
Generally speaking, for Astrology buffs and newbies, Mercury is the planet of speed and communication and the word retrograde is moving backwards. However, “Mercury retrograde” doesn’t literally mean the planet is reversing its spin!
As you’ll read, it’s an optical illusion from our view on Earth. During certain seasons, it appears to slow its usual go-go-go! pace and with that, some attributes will also carry over.
It’s entertaining for some, it’s true school for others.
We are currently in the third of four Mercury retrograde events for 2022; this Spring it began on May 4 and will taper off on June 2, 2022.
