Ronnie Winter of Red Jumpsuit Apparatus Takes a Stand: “Trump Supporters, Don’t Come to My Shows”

Ronnie Winter, lead singer of alternative rock band Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, has drawn a firm line in the sand—Trump supporters are no longer welcome at their shows. In a passionate video posted to Instagram, Winter declared that his concerts are not a space for MAGA ideology, emphasizing themes of acceptance, equality, and the teachings of Jesus.

“If you voted for Donald Trump, do not come to my shows — forever,” Winter stated. “You’re going to hear woke propaganda and the actual words of Jesus. That’s not your vibe.”

The message echoes Winter’s long-standing commitment to progressive ideals and inclusion, themes he’s been vocal about since 2020. The band’s 5x-platinum hit “Face Down,” which addresses domestic violence, has become an anthem for many — but according to Winter, not for those who embrace hate or division.

Currently on tour, including a Warped Tour performance, the band remains unapologetic in its stance. Winter says the heart of his message is simple: unity, love, and the true essence of faith.

“We can actually come together,” he said. “That unity—that’s God.”
