Linkin Park reignited their live presence with a dynamic performance at the UEFA Champions League final in Munich on June 1, showcasing both nostalgia and evolution before a global audience. Taking the stage just ahead of the Paris Saint-Germain vs. Inter Milan kickoff, the band delivered a four-song set including “The Emptiness Machine,” “In the End,” “Numb,” and “Heavy Is the Crown.”
The performance marked a milestone moment as the group pushes forward with their new chapter. Vocalist Emily Armstrong, who joined the band last September, continues to shape the group’s evolving sound and dynamic. While her addition stirred conversations online—including responses from the late Chester Bennington’s family—her presence has brought renewed energy to the band’s live shows.
Linkin Park’s latest album, From Zero, their first since 2017’s One More Light, reflects both tribute and transformation. “It’s not about erasing the past,” said Mike Shinoda during their first show back. “It’s about honoring it while building something new.”
With a North American tour kicking off July 29, fans across the U.S. will soon witness this rebirth in person, including a blockbuster night at Dodger Stadium with Queens of the Stone Age.
