Bullet For My Valentine Bring the Chaos to Rock Am Ring, Set Sights on New Chapter

Bullet For My Valentine unleashed a thunderous performance at Germany’s iconic Rock Am Ring festival on June 7, delivering a career-spanning set that lit up Nürburg with raw, relentless energy. From the brutal opener “Her Voice Resides” to the fan-favorite “Tears Don’t Fall,” the Welsh metalcore titans reminded fans why The Poison remains a defining album of the genre.

The appearance marked one of their final shows before the band retreats into the studio later this summer. Having just wrapped The Poisoned Ascendancy Tour with longtime peers Trivium—an anniversary celebration of their breakthrough records—the band announced that while more international dates were planned, they’re now shifting focus to what comes next.

“We’re turning the page,” the band stated, promising what they call their “best album to date.” Though some fans were disappointed by the tour’s shortened scope, Bullet’s Rock Am Ring performance affirmed their commitment to evolution without losing the fury that built their legacy.

Meanwhile, Trivium’s Matt Heafy shared his personal mental health journey during the tour, calling it “the most fun I’ve ever had” and promising that both bands will return—louder, sharper, and more focused than ever.
