Foreigner Launches New Musical “Feels Like The First Time” with Original Singer Lou Gramm

Foreigner is ready to hit the stage in a whole new way. The legendary rock band announced plans to launch Feels Like The First Time – The Foreigner Musical in partnership with Long Island University’s Post Theatre Company and the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts.

Set for its world premiere in April 2026, the production will feature 14 of Foreigner’s iconic hits, brought to life under the direction of Broadway veteran Adam Pascal (Rent, Aida). A developmental workshop and staged reading are scheduled for later this year.

Adding extra excitement, original Foreigner frontman Lou Gramm will reunite with the band for a special unplugged benefit concert on September 5, 2025, at LIU’s Little Theatre. Tickets for the intimate show start at $35, with proceeds supporting the university’s New Works Initiative and the musical’s development.

Founding guitarist Mick Jones, who penned the song that inspired the musical’s title, expressed his enthusiasm: “It’s a personal thrill for me to know that Adam Pascal will bring our music to a new generation onstage.”

Foreigner, recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, continues to prove that their timeless songs still have the power to move audiences—this time, from the theater stage.
