Rise Against Returns With “Ricochet”: A Rallying Cry for Unity in a Divided World

Rise Against is back with Ricochet, a powerful new album arriving August 15 via Loma Vista Recordings. Marking their first full-length release in four years, Ricochet is an urgent call for reflection and collective awareness in a world built on distraction and division.

Produced by Grammy-winner Catherine Marks and mixed by Alan Moulder, the album features 12 explosive tracks that challenge listeners to examine who profits from our discontent. The lead single, “I Want It All,” sets the tone with blistering guitars and a message of self-determinism in the face of overwhelming noise.

Frontman Tim McIlrath explains the concept: “Everything you do is going to affect somebody; everything you throw will affect the next person. We’re all part of one big ricochet effect.”

With themes ranging from systemic injustice to emotional resilience, Ricochet feels both massive in scope and intimate in message. It reminds us that real change starts within—and with each other.

Currently touring internationally, Rise Against is set to headline major festivals and join the 2025 Vans Warped Tour. After decades of music that hits as hard lyrically as it does sonically, Rise Against proves once again they are not just relevant—they’re essential.
