I have removed a few social apps from my smart device…only to find myself uploading others!
It is a new habit to instill: using apps that help you.
If it is brain power, gaining or losing a routine, or any of the hundreds of latest ways to Do The Thing You Want To Do #ThereIsAnAppForThat 🙂
We can be healthier and less habitual about technology when we understand why one chooses to scroll versus…having a conversation IRL or sitting out in the sun (with sunscreen and sensible sun protective clothing…).
While we are each wearing our face mask, physically social distancing, and keeping healthy, too much screen time is just too much. I suppose if we have to ask, it might be too much!
However, Andy Robertson, technology expert, argues it’s not so much about what we’re using our phones for as how we’re using them.
“It’s really about a healthy balance and variety,” he says.
