Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Split After Nearly a Decade Together Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Split After Nearly a Decade Together

After nearly ten years of an on-and-off romance, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have officially called it quits.

According to sources close to the couple, the split has been “a long time coming,” with tension building over the past several months. Perry, currently on her Lifetimes tour, and Bloom, 47, have reportedly been living apart since the tour began earlier this year.

“They’ve grown apart and aren’t living the same lives anymore,” one insider revealed, noting that their demanding careers and frequent time apart took a toll.

The pair, who share four-year-old daughter Daisy Dove, first sparked romance rumors at the 2016 Golden Globes afterparties. Despite a brief breakup in 2017, they reunited the following year and announced their engagement on Valentine’s Day 2019. However, despite their six-year engagement, a wedding never materialized.

For now, Perry is focusing on her tour while renting out her Westcott Estate in Montecito. Though the breakup is amicable, friends say both are navigating the transition privately.

“They always tried to put in the work,” a source shared. “But sometimes, it’s just not enough.”
