Inside Story

A Day To Remember and Yellowcard Unite for ‘Maximum Fun Tour’ and It’s Pure 2005 Nostalgia

Break out your skinny jeans and Vans — A Day To Remember and Yellowcard are bringing 2005 back in a big way with their newly announced Maximum Fun Tour, launching this September and running through November. The pop-punk powerhouses are co-headlining the cross-country run, with special guests including State Champs, The Wonder Years, Boundaries, and Dinosaur Pile-Up on select dates.

Fans in New York and New Jersey can catch the duo at Syracuse’s Empower FCU Amphitheatre on Sept. 10 and Camden’s Freedom Mortgage Pavilion on Sept. 11. Expect throwback energy, face-melting guitars, and singalongs galore.

The tour comes in tandem with new music from both bands — A Day To Remember recently dropped Big Ole Album Vol. 1, and Yellowcard’s Travis Barker-produced Better Days, their first album in a decade, is expected Oct. 10.

Both bands will also appear at the resurrected Vans Warped Tour, making this fall a full-on emo renaissance. Tickets officially go on sale June 6.

Whether you’re reliving your scene phase or diving in for the first time, this is one tour you won’t want to miss.
